One hospitalized following home invasion in Lexington

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Lexington police say one person was taken to the hospital after an early-morning home break-in.

The suspects broke into the home in the 100-block of Burley Drive just before 3:30 a.m. Monday.

There were four people in the home at the time. Police say two of the four were assaulted by the suspects.

One victim was taken to the hospital to be treated for a head injury. The other victim’s injuries were not serious, according to police.

Police say they are not sure if anything was taken from the home.
