One Dead After Pike Co. Collision

SHELBIANA, Ky. (WTVQ) – Kentucky State Police say a woman has died after a collision on US 460 in the Shelbiana community of Pike County.

Troopers say the crash happened Tuesday afternoon.

According to investigators, 63-year-old Janice Holbrooks lost control of her vehicle and crossed into oncoming traffic, colliding with another vehicle.

Holbrooks was taken to Pikeville Medical Center where she was later pronounced dead by the Pike County Coroner.

No word on the condition of the other driver.
