One dead after Flemingsburg crash
FLEMINGSBURG, Ky. (WTVQ) – Someone died this weekend from a car crash in Flemingsburg.
Around 7:30 p.m. Friday night, troopers say 25-year-old Zachary Rudd from Flemingsburg was going west on Kentucky 57 while 40-year-old Raymond Jones from Dover was making a left turn on to the road.
The cars collided. Rudd wasn’t hurt, but his passenger, 26-Year-old Mary Berry from Maysville, was airlifted to UK hospital. Jones was also airlifted.
Jones’ passenger, Raymond Jones, an 18-year-old from Dover, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Two other young people were involved in the crash and treated for minor injuries.
