One dead in crash on U.S. 23 in Pikeville

PIKEVILLE, Ky. (WTVQ)- State police are investigating a deadly crash that happened Sunday around 1:30 on U.S. 23 in Pikeville.

Troopers say a vehicle was driving on U.S. 23, tried to make a left turn and was hit on the passenger side by another vehicle.

The person in the car that tried to make a left turn was pronounced dead at the Pikeville Medical Center.

Names have not been released.

KSP says no charges have been made and toxicology reports are pending.
