One dead after fatal crash in McCreary County

STRUNK, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) – One person is dead and multiple people are injured after a car crash that happened in McCreary County on Monday, June 17.

According to Kentucky State Police, KSP Post 11 in London responded to a two-car crash around 5:30 p.m. on US-27 and Southern Highway in McCreary County on Monday.

Upon investigation Troopers found that a 2005 Ford Explorer being driven by 19-year-old Cameron D. Burke from Stearns, KY went to cross US-27 but failed to yield to a 2015 Ford Taurus being driven by 71-year-old Martha M. King of Jamestown, TN.
