One arrested after two are stabbed in Carlisle County

ARLINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Two men were stabbed following a fight in Carlisle County and Kentucky State Police say another man is now behind bars.

Troopers were called Monday at around 5:30 p.m. by Carlisle County Dispatch about a report of two people suffering from stab wounds in a parking lot off Highway 51 just north of Arlington.

They say they determined 52-year-old Danny Malady, 35-year-old Phillip Parker, and 59-year-old Williams Simon got into an argument and Malady pulled a knife and stabbed and cut Parker and Simon.

Parker was taken to the hospital by ambulance and was treated and released.

Simon was flown to Skyline Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee. State Police say he was also treated and released.

Malady was arrested and charged with assault and alcohol intoxication in a public place.

He was booked into the Ballard County Jail.
