Oldham Co. man charged with child sexual exploitation

LA GRANGE, Ky. (WTVQ) – Kentucky State Police say an undercover investigation has led to the arrest of 39-year-old Daniel C. Swart on charges related to possession and distribution of matter portraying a sex performance by a minor.

The Electronic Crime Branch says the investigation began after Swart was discovered sharing images of child sexual exploitation online.

Detectives seized equipment from Swart’s home after a search warrant was executed on June 23.

Swart is currently charged with six counts of possession and six counts of distribution of matter portraying a sex performance by a minor. Each charge is punishable by one to five years in prison. Additional charges are expected.
