Oldest living jockey to win Kentucky Derby found safe after days missing
BROOKLYN, Ny. (WTVQ)- The oldest living jockey to win the Kentucky Derby and the Belmont Stakes has been found safe in New York after being reported missing.
WTEN in Albany reports 95-year-old David Erb has dementia and hadn’t been seen since Wednesday.
Erb won the Derby and the Belmont a-top “Needles” back in 1956.
He almost took the triple crown. Needles was second in the Preakness.
Erb was found safe Friday morning in Brooklyn, New York.
