Ohio County man arrested after pursuit

GRAYSON COUNTY, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) — Kentucky State Police say an Ohio County man is in custody following a motorcycle pursuit that began Friday afternoon in the Caneyville area.

According to Kentucky State Police, troopers attempted to stop a motorcycle that was not displaying a license plate. Investigators say the rider refused to stop, prompting a pursuit that was later ended.

Troopers identified the suspect as Ronald Geary, 49, of Beaver Dam. Authorities say Geary had multiple outstanding warrants.

Officials say Geary was located and arrested Saturday without incident. He now faces several charges, including fleeing or evading police, wanton endangerment of a police officer, reckless driving, and multiple traffic violations. Troopers say he was also served with additional warrants from Ohio and Warren counties.

Geary is being held in the Grayson County Detention Center.
