UPDATE: Laurel crash victim dies from injuries

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ)- The Fayette County Coroner’s Office says a 78-year-old woman died Thursday from injuries she suffered in a crash.

It says the victim was Bonnie Jones. According to investigators, she was a passenger in a vehicle Tuesday on U.S. 25 in Laurel County when it collided with another vehicle.

The coroner’s office says Jones was flown to U.K. Hospital in Lexington where she later died.
