Officials sending out water testing kits in the city of Paris
PARIS, Ky. — The City of Paris is preparing to send out water testing kits to community members starting the week of July 8th. City officials announced that some residents will receive these kits by mail as part of an ongoing effort to ensure water quality.
The testing is mandated by the State Division of Water and the EPA to check for lead and copper levels. According to city officials, previous water samples have consistently been below EPA standards for these contaminants.
The kits will include detailed instructions on how to collect and submit water samples. Residents are encouraged to follow the instructions carefully to ensure accurate testing.
