Official says jail in western Kentucky closing
HICKMAN, Ky. (AP) — Officials have decided to close a jail in western Kentucky.
Hickman County Judge-Executive Kenny Wilson told WPSD-TV (http://bit.ly/1Na8JJ5) that magistrates voted on Wednesday morning to shut the county’s jail down. Wilson said he informed the facility’s seven employees.
The station reports inmates are being transferred to the Fulton County Detention Center.
