Officers Search For Driver Of Flipped Car

Officers had to search the area around the Fayette and Clark County line after they showed up to an overnight crash and couldn’t find the driver.

It happened on Todds Road just after midnight Wednesday.

The driver was later found walking on Colby Road. Police said he didn’t have a phone and went to get help.

The driver told them he went off the edge of the road, overcorrected and flipped his car.

The man wasn’t hurt, according to police.

Police said neither drugs nor alcohol were suspected in the crash.
