Officer involved shooting in Harrodsburg

HARRODSBURG, Ky. (WTVQ) – A man accused of domestic violence is in jail after officers shot him Sunday morning in Harrodsburg.  State police are investigating the shooting.

Troopers say just after 3 AM Harrodsburg officers responded to a domestic dispute at a home on Bacon Court. 32 year old John Peach reportedly confronted them while armed.

Shots were fired and Peach was hurt.  He was taken to the hospital, and is now behind bars charged with assault and attempted murder of a police officer.
