Officer fatally shoots man in Louisville
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (AP) — A Louisville Metro Police officer has fatally shot a man after being called to a domestic dispute.
Police told local media that as the officer approached an arguing couple early Tuesday, the man pulled out a gun. Police said the officer fired his weapon in response, and the man died at the scene.
Police Chief Steve Conrad said the man did not fire any shots at the officer. It wasn’t clear how many shots the officer fired.
Police did not immediately identify the officer involved or the man killed.
An investigation was continuing.
