Off-duty deputy injured in crash in Pulaski Co.

PULASKI COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ)- The Commonwealth Journal says a Pulaski County sheriff’s deputy was injured in a crash Wednesday night near Slate Branch Road.

The newspaper says state police are handling the investigation and that little information is available.

Major Jeff Hancock and Public Affairs Officer, Karl Clinard of the Pulaski County Sheriff’s Office were able to confirm that the deputy was off-duty, and in the sheriff’s cruiser at the time.

Hancock said that the deputy is believed to be injured, as is the driver of the other vehicle, according to the newspaper.
