Lexington to announce lineup for 250Lex Arts Month celebration

LEXINGTON, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) – Lexington city leaders are set to announce details for 250Lex Arts Month as part of the city’s ongoing 250th anniversary celebration.

Officials say November will be dedicated to the arts, highlighting community creativity and cultural heritage through a variety of local events and performances.

A press conference is scheduled for 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Lexington Opera House on West Short Street. City leaders will outline the month’s festivities, followed by a special performance from the Bluegrass Youth Ballet.

250Lex is a yearlong celebration of Lexington’s history, community, and culture, with each month spotlighting a different theme.
