Not guilty plea entered in Lexington hit-and-run case

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) –  The man accused of hitting three pedestrians on Winchester Road Sunday night entered a ‘not guilty’ plea on Monday.

Lexington Police say 25-year-old Asiel Iraola hit three men who were walking on a sidewalk on Winchester Road and Midland Avenue around 11:00 p.m.  The three victims went to the hospital, all in critical condition.

Police say Iraola also left the scene but was found and arrested a short time later.  He is charged with assault, driving under the influence, and leaving the scene of an accident.
