Northern Kentucky city councilman charged with sexually abusing a minor

MASON COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ)- A northern Kentucky politician is in jail for sexually abusing a child, according to the Herald-Leader.

They say 43-year-old Clarence Jefferson’s alleged victim was under the age of 12.

Jefferson has served on the Dover City Council since 2016, but lost his most recent re-election bid.
