NordicTrack Row Machines recalled due to fire risk

(ABC36 NEWS NOW) – Nearly 45,000 Row Machines are being recalled after reports that their screen consoles could overheat and potentially catch fire.

The recall affects several model numbers of the EYE-FIT NordicTrack rowing machine. These machines were sold at major retailers including Best Buy, Dick’s Sporting Goods, and Amazon across the U.S. and Canada between November 2018 and April 2022.

Owners are urged to stop using the machines immediately, unplug them, and contact EYE-FIT to have the screen console replaced free of charge.

So far, there have been multiple reports of fire, smoking, or melting, but no injuries have been reported.
