“We have no room for error.”
LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – How do you bounce back after falling for the fourth straight time?
How do you get things on track? How do you find and reach your potential?
How do you come back and win after ending a game on the wrong side of 20-7 run?
Auburn didn’t play great Wednesday night but the Tigers beat the Cats 76-66.
Coach Cal was pleased his team held Auburn to lower shooting percentages than their standard for the season, but clearly that’s not getting it done.
So what now?
Cal’s still not hitting any panic buttons.
He’s still calm and not cracking.
The Cats have lost 4 straight, yet there’s progress?
Hard to believe for many Solid Blue fans. They say now is exactly the time to panic.
Cal says the smaller lineup, keeping Nick Richards on the bench, looked good.
Why is Cal still confident in this group? In his own words…he’s old…and sees things everyone else just doesn’t.
Egos come after the team.
You can’t win if guys don’t buy they’re good enough as individuals to truly help the team.
Which leaves Kenny Payne breaking down how the staff can help each Cat and what translates across the board.
Hear from Cal and Payne in the video.
