No charges after deadly shooting in Harlan Co. explosives search

HARLAN, Ky. (WTVQ) – No charges will be filed after the deadly shooting of a suspect in Harlan County last month.

Police and fire investigators were searching for explosive devices in the woods when Kentucky State Police say  a fight started between law enforcement and suspect Mark Sawaf.

Troopers say Lexington Fire Captain Brad Dobrzynski ended up shooting Sawaf.

On Monday, a grand jury decided not to indict any of the police or fire investigators involved.
