No. 9 Kentucky Advances to NCAA Pennsylvania Regional Final

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. (ABC36 NEWS NOW)- No. 9 Kentucky gymnastics is still dancing in the NCAA Tournament after posting its third highest score of the season on Thursday.
The Wildcats scored 197.525 to move onto the regional round for the sixth year in a row and place second in the first semifinal of the day. No. 8 Michigan State won the semifinal and Ohio State and Penn State were defeated by both the Spartans and the Cats.
Saturday at 5 p.m. is when the Cats will be back on the mat for the Sweet Sixteen in the Pennsylvania Regional. Two of the four teams in the second semifinal, No. 1 LSU, No. 16 Arkansas, Michigan and Maryland, will be facing off as well.
Within the regional final, two teams will advance to the National Championships.
