No. 3 Kentucky Volleyball sweeps South Carolina in SEC opener

LEXINGTON, Ky. (ABC 36 SPORTS) – No. 3 Kentucky volleyball swept South Carolina in three sets (25-17, 29-27, 25-18) on Wednesday night at Historical Memorial Coliseum, marking the cats first win in an SEC opener since 2021.

Brooklyn DeLeye led the Wildcats with 14 kills, hitting .522 and adding a season-high 16 digs for her third double-double. Eva Hudson added 13 kills, eight digs, and two blocks for a 15.5-point performance. As a team, the cats hit .340 on the night.

Kentucky is now 8-2 this season and 1-0 in conference play.
