No. 11 Kentucky finishes non-conference slate with a blowout win over Hofstra

LEXINGTON, Ky. (ABC 36 NEWS NOW) — The Kentucky women’s basketball team wrapped up its non-conference schedule with an 80–42 win over Hofstra. The Wildcats finished non-conference play at 13–1 and went undefeated in the month of December.

It was all Wildcats from the start, as Kentucky led by 10 at the end of the first quarter and never looked back. Clara Strack led the team with 24 points and added a game-high 11 rebounds.

Amelia Hassett chipped in 18 points, while Asia Boone scored 11, as three Wildcats finished in double figures.

Kentucky will open SEC play on New Year’s Day on the road against LSU. Tip-off is set for 8 p.m. on SEC Network+.
