UK Police launch 9th annual “Cram the Cruiser” toy drive for children in need

LEXINGTON, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) – The University of Kentucky Police Department is spreading holiday cheer with its 9th annual “Cram the Cruiser” toy drive to benefit children in need.

From now through December 10, UKPD is collecting new, unwrapped toys at its headquarters on Transcript Avenue.

Officers will also be collecting donations during the UK–Tennessee Tech football game on November 15 at Gate 4.

All donated toys will go to young patients at Golisano Children’s Hospital. The holiday donations will be delivered across campus in a festive “Parade of Toys” on December 11.
