LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – The UK defense is by no means perfect, but, as we’ve mentioned now several times the past few weeks, Kentucky is making progress.

Mark Stoops is pleased with the positives from the win over South Carolina and solid, competitive showing in the loss at Alabama.

Stoops is still coaching up his Cats in practice though.  He’s trying to build depth and create an even more competitive group.

So far, he thinks it’s working.
