Nicholasville Police seek info on car burglaries, urge residents to lock cars
NICHOLASVILLE, Ky. (WTVQ) – Nicholasville Police are seeking the community’s help stopping and solving a string of recent car burglaries.
Police say officers have responded to a rash of vehicles broken into during the last few nights.
“Please do not leave any valuables inside your vehicle. We have had several items stolen, including firearms. The most important thing you can do is lock your doors. All of the recent thefts have involved cars that were unlocked,” police said in a social media post.
Investigators also are asking people who live in the Ridgeview Drive or the Orchard Subdivision area to check surveillance cameras for possible suspects or vehicles that may have been involved in the thefts.
Anyone who finds information should contact the department via Facebook messenger, comment or call 859 885-9467.
