The Foster Care Council of Lexington is a non-profit organization with the goal of providing funds for educational opportunities to help foster children persevere! Today, Shalamar Parrish joined us at the table to tell us all about her book "Leading Lady", a fiction book which educates people on the real impacts of being a foster kid.

We had some excellent music on the show today! We were joined by music group "A Little Bit More", they performed their bluegrass tunes all through the show. Jill Hamlin and Reed Fields are the founders of the group and you can expect to see them performing at black-tie benefits, taverns, fairs, and festivals.
