New Wawa coming to Jessamine County in September

NICHOLASVILLE, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) – A new business is coming to Jessamine County. Wawa is opening its first store in Nicholasville on Friday, September 12, at 3000 Lexington Road.

The company began more than 200 years ago as a dairy operation and opened its first convenience store in 1964. Today, Wawa is known for its coffee, fresh food, hoagies, pizza, and more.

Community members will also have a chance to sign up for a preview event ahead of the store’s grand opening.
