New restrooms slated for a city park

BEREA, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) – Improvements are on the way for Berea City Park, as officials announce plans for new restrooms and upgraded facilities.

According to city officials, the project is being funded through a Recreational Trails Program grant administered by the Kentucky Department of Local Government.

The existing restrooms near Duerson Stadium are expected to be demolished later this year. The new design will include modern restroom facilities, a renovated snack bar, and additional storage space — all aimed at enhancing the park experience for families and visitors.

City leaders say the upgrades will make the park more accessible and enjoyable for the community.
