New resource available for domestic violence survivors

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Survivors of domestic violence have a new guide

The Domestic Violence Prevention Board has published “A Survivor’s Handbook.”

The board says the handbook provides the most current information on legal protections and community resources in Fayette County for survivors of domestic violence, dating violence, sexual violence and stalking.

Victim’s advocates with the Lexington Police Department are distributing copies of the handbooks as well as area shelters.

The handbook is available in print, PDF and online.
