New Pulaski County Coroner Sworn In

Charles "Chuck" E. Godbey was sworn into office Thursday.

The change comes after the former coroner Richard New stepped down from office Wednesday.

New plead guilty to theft charges and admitted he stole $60,000 from Lake Cumberland Funeral Home.

Godbey will serve the remainder of New’s term which ends on December 31, 2014.
