New Jersey mother honored in Anderson County
ANDERSON COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ) – Governor Matt Bevin named Koeberle Bull and State Trooper Josh Satterly Kentucky Colonels.
Bull called police in October to report a threat on social media.
Investigators, including Trooper Satterly, found the threat came from Lawrenceburg.
Police arrested Dylan Jarrell, accusing him of planning a school shooting in Anderson and Shelby Counties.
At the ceremony Saturday morning, both counties declared December 1 Koeberle Bull and Trooper Josh Satterly day.
Both honorees were also celebrated at Lawrenceburg’s Christmas parade.
“It was overwhelming. I’m not one for the spotlight, but it was cool,” Bull said about receiving a hero’s welcome.
Bull’s children attended a Kentucky basketball game with the governor, while Bull enjoyed some time at a winery.
