New Gold Star Families Memorial monument at Ky. Capitol grounds

FRANKFORT, Ky. (WTVQ) – On Gold Start Families Day Sunday, a non-profit held a dedication ceremony for a newly installed monument at the Kentucky State Capitol.

The Hershel “Woody” Williams Medal of Honor Foundation installed the monument at the capitol grounds.

The monument honors and recognizes Gold Star families and the legacy of their loved ones who paid the ultimate sacrifice while serving in the armed forces.
