New Energy-Efficient Homes Will Help West Liberty Tornado Victims

Two years after a deadly, destructive tornado, more help is on the way to West Liberty.

The Clinton Global Initiative announced a plan to spend almost $8 million to build 52 housing units for people displaced by the storm.

The work will begin with four single-family homes as a test.

The homes will include solar and geo-thermal energy systems as part of an experiment into energy self-sufficient homes.
