New critical incident team launches in Scott County
SCOTT COUNTY, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) — A new resource is launching in Scott County to support first responders and the community following critical and traumatic events.
The Georgetown-Scott County Critical Incident Team is a multi-agency initiative designed to provide coordinated support during high-impact situations. Officials say the team’s goal is to ensure help is available when it’s needed most.
The group’s first official meeting is scheduled for June 2 from 9 a.m. to noon at the Georgetown-Scott County Emergency Management Agency. All partnering agencies and interested personnel are encouraged to attend and learn more about the program.
