New Course Will Help More Teens Learn Driving Safety

Teen drivers in Kentucky may be a little safer after an unveiling this morning.

Lexington mayor Jim Gray and the Fayette County Attorney’s Office teamed up to present a new course to be used as part of a defensive driving class for teens.

The Teen Driver Education Program started in 2010 and 190 students have graduated since then using a similar course.

With the addition of the new course, 250 are expected to graduate in the next year alone.

You can find more information about the class here.
