New Circle traffic slowed by police presence

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Drivers may have noticed a police presence on New Circle Road on Friday morning, which resulted in slowed traffic.

Several officers in yellow vests were seen scouring the area along the entrance ramp from Tates Creek to New Circle. Police say they were looking for an important piece of evidence in a recent case, but would not go into detail.
