Names of four arrested in shots fired call released
LEXINGTON, Ky. (ABC 36 NEWS NOW) – Four people have been arrested and are facing charges in an early morning shooting in Lexington.
According to the Lexington Police Department, officers responded to a report of shots fired at 2:36 a.m., on Wednesday, June 12, in the 3400 block of Ormond Circle off Redding Road and Lansdowne Drive.
The LPD says that Officers arrested Luis Edel, 22, Elias Loeza Zapl, 29, Adaias Lopez-Perez, 37, and Daniel Vill Egaz, 27, at the scene.
The four are each charged with 7 counts of Wanton Endangerment 1st degree – police officer, one count of discharging a firearm city limits 1st degree, and one count of criminal mischief 1st degree, according to the LPD.
Responders blocked off the road at the time of the incident, but officers say that the road is now clear.
No one was injured, but one house was struck by the gunfire, the LPD said.
