N. Kentucky police memorial damaged
COVINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – A damaged police memorial in northern Kentucky is causing outrage.
The stone monument was at the foot of the suspension bridge in Covington and was to be filled with names of fallen officers.
Officers believe it happened during or after Tuesday’s all-star game. A second monument was targeted as well, but there was no real damage. The police chief hopes insurance will replace the three-thousand dollar monument.
