Murder charge for father in shooting death of son

ASHLAND, Ky. (WTVQ) -State police in Greenup Co. have arrested a man after investigating a reported shooting.

Officers say it happened on Short Branch Road on Thursday.  According to investigators, 61-year-old Elmer Kazee called 911 and reported he had shot his son.  When troopers arrived, they say they found 41-year-old Gregory Kazee deceased with multiple gunshot wounds.

Elmer Kazee was arrested and charged with murder.  He was taken to the Greenup Co. Detention Center.

The case remains under investigation.
