Multiple shots fired into occupied car
LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Police have one suspect and are looking for two more following a shooting in Lexington.
Police say they got a call about shots fired just before 10 p.m. Tuesday at Lakeshore Drive and Fontaine Road.
When they arrived, authorities say they found a car had been hit multiple times by bullets.
Two men were in the car when the shots were fired but they were not hit.
Witnesses say a white car was seen leaving the area just after the shots were fired.
Less than a half-hour later, police spotted a car matching the description.
That car took off and struck a tree on Henry Clay Boulevard.
Police say three men got out and ran. One was arrested.
Two guns were found in the car, according to police.
K9 units were called in to try and track the suspects but did not find the other two.
Police believe the victims and the suspects know each other.
