Multiple people arrested over the weekend for drug charges in Harlan
HARLAN, Ky. (WTVQ)- Harlan sheriff’s deputies arrested multiple people Friday, July 27 for drug charges.
Deputies say they were on patrol in the area when they saw 40-year-old Tara Thomas in the area who had an active Indictment Warrant. She was also served with a Harlan County Child Support Warrant.
Later that evening, deputies conducted two traffic stops in the Cawood area. 30-year-old Jason Gilbert and his two passengers, 19-year-old Carryington Asher and 23-year-old Chasity Phillips were arrested for drugs and other charges.
Deputies also arrested 37-year-old Michael Myers, 21-year-old Daniel Hensley, 36-year-old Patrick Myers, 27-year-old Shane Bowling, 32-year-old Tabatha Smith, and 44-year-old Retha Robbins.
All subjects were lodged in the Harlan County Detention Center. The cases remain under investigation by Deputies with the Harlan County Sheriff’s Office.
