Multiple ISCO Championship commitments announced

CaptureLEXINGTON, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW)- A handful of professional golfers has committed to the 2024 ISCO Championship including local talents Josh Teater and Alex Goff.

Teater, who is from Lexington and went to Morehead State, has played on the Korn Ferry and PGA Tours.

After finishing up his time at the University of Kentucky, Goff will make his PGA Tour debut at Keene Trace. The CATSPY Male Athlete of the Year for 2024 owns the lowest stroke average in the Wildcats’ history.

“We have a couple of other former Kentucky golfers who will be in the field,” said Jimmy Kirchdorfer, ISCO’s Chief Executive Officer. “This event is in Kentucky and we are proud of our golf heritage.”

Joel Dahmen, a fan favorite from the hit Netflix show, Full Swing, has also committed to the tournament. The Washington native has 23 top ten finishes on the PGA Tour and is ranked 105th in the FedEx Cup standings as of June 9.

Jason Dufner and Stewart Cink are two other well-known golfers who have committed as well.

“This has been a fun event in the community, but every year we want to make it better,” said Kirchdorfer. “It’s a big deal for the PGA Tour to come to this community and any community.”
