Multi-state fugitive arrested in eastern Kentucky

FLOYD COUNTY, Ky. (ABC 36 NEWS NOW) — A man wanted in multiple states is now behind bars after being arrested in Floyd County.

According to the Floyd County Sheriff’s Department, 29-year-old Jacob Henson of Clark’s Hill, Indiana, was taken into custody Monday during a traffic stop in the Old Allen community near Prestonsburg.

Deputies say their K-9 alerted to the presence of drugs in Henson’s vehicle. Further investigation revealed Henson is wanted in Indiana on several charges and also has outstanding warrants in Kentucky.

Henson was arrested without incident. Authorities say additional charges may be pending.
