Multi-state drug trafficking investigation in Laurel County
LONDON, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) — Three suspects have been arrested following a significant drug bust in Laurel County. The arrests are the result of a multi-state drug trafficking investigation.
The suspects are identified as 58-year-old Vernon Delph from London, 30-year-old Jay Boykin from Georgia, and 46-year-old Caronda Tilman from Tennessee. They are now facing charges related to the distribution of large quantities of crystal meth and other drugs in Laurel and Clay Counties.
Earlier this month, investigators reportedly discovered pounds of methamphetamine, marijuana, 23 guns, and over $15,000 in cash at Delph’s home. The Laurel County Sheriff’s Office has indicated that more arrests are expected as the investigation continues.
