Mt. Sterling soldier killed in WWII is coming home

MOUNT STERLING, Ky. (WTVQ) – A Kentucky soldier killed in WWII is coming home.

The Department of Defense announced Monday the remains of Army Private First-Class Jacob Givens were identified in June.

The Mount Sterling native was 30 when he was killed while fighting in Germany.

Givens will be buried on November 9 in Prestonsburg.
