Motorcycle pursuit ends in arrest
FRANKFORT, Ky. (WTVQ) – State Police say a Lexington man has been arrested after a high-speed pursuit on a motorcycle.
Troopers say Monday at about 11:45 p.m. they saw a motorcycle with no license plate speeding down I-64 near mile marker 43. Officers say when they tried to stop the motorcycle, the driver took off and a pursuit began.
Police say the driver took the exit at mile marker 58, but lost control and wrecked. Officers say the driver then took off on foot. A Trooper used a taser to stop the man, and end the pursuit.
According to police, the driver was 20-year-old Jordan T. Hammock of Lexington. He was charged for not having registration plates, speeding, resisting arrest, and possession of cocaine, among other charges. Hammock also had warrants for his arrest out of Madison Co.
Hammock was taken to the Franklin Co. Jail.
