Morning fire under investigation in Lexington

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – The Lexington Fire Department is looking into what caused a propane tank to catch fire Monday morning.

Crews were called just before 6:30 A.M. in the 1000 block of Whipple Court for a propane tank on a loading dock on fire. When crews arrived they say smoke coming from the structure. The fire was quickly put out with minimal damage, firefighters said.

A fire investigator was called to the scene.
